We will be in Waikiki on Halloween and just wondered if anything special happens in bars and restaurants. Do people dress up? Is there a not to be missed event that I should be making advance reservations for?

Oh yes, people dress up in all kinds of crazy costumes. It gets so crowded some years (depending on the weather, and if it%26#39;s a weekend or weekday), you can%26#39;t walk through the streets without bumping into various monsters, creatures and characters. It%26#39;s fun to find a place to sit where you can just watch everyone going by. I don%26#39;t know if there are any official ';events'; . Probably many bars will have Halloween specials or entertainment.
