My husband, mother, two teenage children and I are visiting Maui for the first time in November. I am pretty particular about hotels and I have so far booked two rooms in three different hotels - the Ritz, the Fairmont, and the Hyatt. The price is about the same for all three, except the Ritz and the Hyatt is on the Club Level, so extra food and cocktails are included. I was very interested in the Ritz originally with the Club Level, but my fear is that it will be cold at that time of year. We are from Wisconsin, so we want tropical! The Fairmont has the largest rooms, and it seems the best weather. Please advise.

Ritz, Hyatt, or Fairmont in November?
I%26#39;ve never noticed a huge difference temperature-wise from Kaplua to Wailea. Kapalua is definitely more windy than most places. I was there last year when it was raining a lot and wailea was a litle more dry. You wont have sunshine in one area and dowpours in another.
All 3 hotels are really nice, but with teenage kids I think you%26#39;re better off at the Hyatt or Fairmont. There%26#39;s more for them to do. The Ritz is kind of secluded and has a more grown up feel to it. Kids might get restless after a while...unless they love golf.
Ritz, Hyatt, or Fairmont in November?
I%26#39;d say Hyatt or Fairmont as well. I love the Kaanapali strip and it would be great for tenagers but the Fairmont rooms are all suites which is good for families.
The Hyatt would probably be more entertaining for the kids. Ritz is a bit isolated and more adult in nature. Fairmont is very nice and in Kehe so it is a good choice too i would think.
I have stayed at the Ritz, Sheraton, and Hyatt and you can read my TR and find links to pictures by clicking on my member name.
Sorry the pics aren%26#39;t labelled too well, i am trying to rearrange and label but webshots isn%26#39;t cooperating very well.
