weather in hawaii in April

I will be travelling to Hawaii mid April 2007 with my children.

Does anyone know what the weather will be like at this time of year?

I would like to know what Temperature i can expect and also if it is generally non rainy season at this time?

I am also interested to know if this is the low season for tourist%26#39;s or is it at the end of high season?

Thankyou for your help.

Aloha, we were on the BI for a week in the beginning of April. Depends on where you are staying - we had hot and sunny weather every day where we nested. We did a %26#39;drive the island%26#39; day and it rained periodically in certain areas higher up. Closer to sea level where we surfed it was magnificent. Have a great time! Can;t wait to get back ourselves this spring.

I%26#39;ve always found April to be one of the best months to travel to the islands. May perhaps being my favorite before settling in for the summer on Kauai. We visited in June this year and it was still nice (just a bit warmer than we%26#39;d have liked).

April has idea weather most of the time (wetter earlier in the month but drier in the later days) and there are typically low tourist numbers (for most islands). The Big Island I believe has the Merrie Monarch Festival in early April though, Hilo side. That can make things very busy.

This site may help with the weather, but the seasonal outlooks are for Maui. It shouldn%26#39;t be that much different though.

Hi, We were in the BI at the end of March and weather was great. I can%26#39;t remember any rain but there must have been some. They get more rain on the east side I believe in Hano area.

We were married in Mauna Luni and weather was great for a week.

Wasn%26#39;t touristy at the end of March.

Each island varies where Tourism is concerned. The BI is my favorate as it%26#39;s still undiscovered by all them tourists.
