I understand the Hawaii Raceway is closing down in April 2006. Is there another place in Honolulu or surrounding where one might go to see some good racing?

Unfortunately no. The raceway park closed the other week (end of March??) and there was some rallying at the Capitol to keep it going. Don%26#39;t know what happened after that. Now I%26#39;m afraid we%26#39;ll all be %26#39;obtacles%26#39; if the renegade racers start using the freeway as their course.

Right. The issue at the leg was whether the taxpayers should subsidize the raceway, and they passed (for now).
