I guess that depends on your point of view, but overall I haven%26#39;t noticed a great difference in the amount of time to pass through security and amount of security presence than before the recent UK events. It was worse right when the changes took place, but since then it has tapered off, just a lot more individual screenings because people keep mistakingly leaving liquids and gels in their backpacks or carry-on bags.

Any changes in the rules regarding bringing your own food?

No liquids or gels and that includesd yogurt. Foods must be solid types.

On the way back you can not bring fruits or items from Maui back to the USA the agriculture security check is right there when you go to board the plane. We had to eat our fruits etc. before we went thru. That has always been that way not just since security issues.

If you buy pineapples to bring home they must have the packing stamp on them you just can%26#39;t buy them and carry them on board.

By the way, how are people bring back the special Maui Wines? Packing them in checked luggage?
