Coffee shop in Poipu or Koloa town?

I hate to admit it, but I have a bad ';Latte'; habit and want to see if there is a coffee shop in Poipu or Koloa town.. we are staying at Marriott Waiohai and I will need a daily latte.

Any recs. for a near by coffee shop?

I hear there is a Starbuck%26#39;s somwhere in that vicinity...unless you want to stay local, which I completely understand. But my wife has a ';Mocha'; condition that just can%26#39;t seem to be lived up to anywhere but SB%26#39;s. I like SB%26#39;s too...but good Hawaiian Kona in Kauai....it just doesn%26#39;t get any better than that...

zmann, did you try Kaua%26#39;i coffee? We hit Walmart for a supply when we can.

There%26#39;s a Starbucks in the Kukui Grove shopping center, and another one in Kapaa by Safeway just in case that latte craving demands SB!! Then you can wander over to Coldstone and take care of the sugar craving....yum!

Starbucks has a very nice facility in the Kukuigrove shopping village on Nawiliwili St. just off the main highway in Lihue.

Probably about a 20 minute drivef rom poipu. Might want to combine that with a trip to longs drugs for whatever. Lots of other shopping there, and Erica is finding some good sales at Macy%26#39;s for casual island wear.

There is also the Kauai Bakery with great chololate filled malasadas, Star market, Bank, shoe stores, health stores, and

inexpensive food court. Lots of other shops, UPS for shipping things back home, and a cold stone ice creame parlour.

Walking back from the Kauai Athletic Club, across the street, Erica likes to stop at Starbucks for an after work out treat, before continuing on home.

I see lots of visitors going there. Must be doing a good job, since they seem to keep busy.

pzp....the only coffee I have ever had on Kauai was Kona to my knowledge...I%26#39;ll have to give the Kauai coffee a try though, thanks for the tip. As for Walmart...welllll I won%26#39;t go near the place...where else can I buy it?

The Marriott Waiohai has coffee drinks made with SB%26#39;s coffee so that should be very convenient for you. Every morning we see people getting their favorite coffee drink, pulling up a lounge chair and watching the ocean. Simply heaven. I don%26#39;t think you can ask for more than that!! We are going on Saturday to the Waiohai for a week!!! Can%26#39;t wait.
