I did it in march and it was fabulous.

How is whale watching in dec/jan?

We did it on the Navatek on Jan. 14, 2006. They head south from Hono harbor and start looking for whales. There is 2or 3 other ships out on whale watching cruises too, when one spots a whale or whales they must contact each other, then you haul ash over to where said whale was spotted and might get a glimpse of one. They tell you that a whale can be spotted at any direction so to spread out on ship. They always head for it so be in the front.
