Theses are all good things.....Looking forward to some maitai%26#39;s right about now, a little feast @ lele, 5 mph down Front st, having to put the top up on the jeep on the road to hana b/c of rain, then taking it down, then up %26amp; so on, eating fish for breakfast %26amp; lunch %26amp; dinner, hawaiian music on the radio, $6.00 for a gallon of milk, not hearing any horns honking, driving down the ';highway'; %26amp; seeing people camping on the beach %26amp; surfing before breakfast, some of the greatest golf courses in the world, setting our loose schedule around sunrises %26amp; sunets, flying 6.000 miles %26amp; finally getting my pink feet into white sand %26amp; my wife smells like coconut suntan lotion @ my side I close my eyes on the beach lounge chair %26amp; hear only waves (And a mother telling her child to stop throwing sand), the sight of a fish bigger than you being weighed on the dock @ Lahaina, the feeling of swimming in a fish tank b/c the fish are so exotic %26amp; the water so clear, seeing a humpback breach from the beach, a sunset cruise with cocktails %26amp; terriyaki chicken on a stick %26amp; some guy with a beard %26amp; flip flops singing Jimmy Buffett, the nervous adrenaline you feel when your helicopter takes off the ground %26amp; you feel excited yet vulnerable, the lobby of your hotel that has no walls only a roof, the 1st time you give someone the shaka, feeling stress free enough that you actually allow someone to pull out infront of you b/c you%26#39;re not late for anything, telling someone ';mahalo'; %26amp; meaning it, looking forward to dinner that does not have french fries %26amp; a coke, waking up %26amp; already knowing the final score of your favorite (East coast) sports team, sending a picture message on your phone to you friends @ work of you %26amp; the Mrs in a Hawaiian shirt %26amp; flip flops with the beach behind you knwoing they%26#39;ll be jealous, never reaching 55 mph in the car for a week, thinking that it%26#39;s a bargain to only pay $5.00 for parking for dinner, actually contemplate %26amp; @ some point in all seriousness turn to your spouse %26amp; say ';what do think about moving here?';, the realization that this place is alot bigger than when you stared @ it from a computer screen %26amp; even more beautiful, when you get back make sure you tell you Tripadvisor pals about it!
