Yea, I haven%26#39;t had a whole lot good to say about this property other than it%26#39;s cheap. Try a search in that little window using ';Kihei Bay Surf'; and you%26#39;ll find this:

along with several other postings from the past. I can%26#39;t imagine anyone other than an owner having much great to say about this place. If you are sold on this property then my advice is to you is to shop hard, get a renovated unit AND a cheap price, then maybe ...

I put a deposit on the unit for a 14 night stay at approx 80 dollars a night. The unit is a second floor unit that has been completely redone with new stailnes steel appliances, marble countertops, new bathroom and hard wood laminate floors. If you suggest somewhere else for about the same or even $100 per night let me know. I am a bit worried about the ';seedyness of the area. Don%26#39;t get me wrong, I%26#39;m sure its not a crack house, but I do want my stay in Maui to be enjoyable.

Hey, $80 a night for peak season (approx. late December through the end of March) is hard to beat. However, if you are talking low season (September through November or late April through May) than $80 ain%26#39;t so good. Economy 1BR%26#39;s in south Kihei in complexes like the Kihei Ali%26#39;i Kai, Kama%26#39;ole Beach Royale, Kihei Kai Nani, Kihei Akahi and, with some luck, even the Maui Banyan and Hale Kama%26#39;ole will regularly come in under $100 per night. Especially the Kihei Ali%26#39;i Kai and Kihei Kai Nani. Heck those last 2 can often be had for about $100 per night even in peak season. Hit www.VRBO.com and check it out ;)

When we were looking at units we saw that property. Not the nicest. Try Wailana Kai, it%26#39;s right up the street, not pricey and very nice units. Right across the street from a very long walking beach.

You could also look at Kihei Kai Nani, that particular complex is across from Kamaole II which is a great beach and they have units for under a hundred bucks a night.
