We%26#39;ve had it in the past and it was pricey, but excellent. Last time we were on the Big Island it was hard to find. Any grocery stores that sell it on a regular basis? Thanks.
Parker Ranch beef?
There is only one market on the island that I have ever found,
The butcher shop at the Waikoloa Village Market. And it sells it for about what costco sells its steaks........ between 12 and 14 a LB for Parker Ranch Black Angus . Most all gets exproted. I think only Perer Merriman serves it here
Spencer is the best I have found for value I drive 60 miles to get it... it is without a doubt the best beef I have ever had... better than Kobe...year after year steak after steak....... not one complaint

Thanks for your reply, hawaiidan. Where do you go to buy the Spencer beef? Sounds like it%26#39;s worth the drive, especially since we do most of our own cooking while on vacation and like to stock up on food when we arrive.
