All Inclusive Resort - Which one?

My boyfriend and I are planning to go to Hawaii. We went to at least spend 1000 dollars per person and we don%26#39;t know any resorts that would give us a good deal and offer the best. Do anyone of you know what we should do? Thanx!

All Inclusive Resort - Which one?

Not sure which island you are considering. Kona Village Resort on the Big Island is the only thing close to all-inclusive and is WAY pricey. Do your research, consider using Priceline for your hotel, eat at fun local type places instead of the expensive resort restaurants; and you can do it! You can go to any of the islands on ALMOST any budget and have a great time. Your flights may be the most expensive part of your vacation. I would say you can visit Oahu for the least amount of money with the Big Island second. Maui and Kaui get more pricey. Do LOTS of research on these forums and get a couple of good guidebooks at the bookstore.

Aloha! Hawaii isn%26#39;t known for AI%26#39;s, but you wouldn%26#39;t want that anyhow - too much wonderful food to explore on each island. I would figure out what you want to do on your trip and which island you want to stay on - each island is unique and offers different things for different people. My favorite so far is Kauai - it%26#39;s beauty is incredible. I found Maui more expensive and just a bit too touristy for me, but as the other poster mentioned - you have lots of options for every budget. You can stay in luxury resorts, condos, cottages - you name it. If you want a basic idea try looking at vrbo.com - you will see the amazing variety of accommodations available on each island. Also, there are several books - the ';revealed'; which will provide lots of info on the island you want to be on - ex: Maui Revealed, the Ultimate Kauai Revealed, etc. These are a great resource in planning your vacation - details which might help you choose which part of an island you want to be on, the best beaches, snorkeling, etc.

And no matter what island, do go to a luau. These forums are also very helpful in any details you want to know. Good luck and happy planning! :)
