restaurant with aquarium

My wife and I were there in %26#39;92 and ate at a restaurant that had a huge aquarium in it. We are going back in April with the kids and want to take them there but can%26#39;t remember the name or where it is. Can anyone help? Thanks.

I think that%26#39;s Oceanarium Restaurant in the Pacific Beach hotel.

Thank you! You are indeed right.

Fun place! I%26#39;m sure they will enjoy it.

Don%26#39;t know if they still do it, but in the past the divers would hold up a Happy Birthday/Anniversary sign in front of your table (have your camera ready and, if digital, experiment with flash vs. no flash beforehand).

Yep, they still do it, or at least they did for my wife%26#39;s birthday last September 26th.

This is not free. I looked at my records - it cost $20.83 but was absolutely worth it. They didn%26#39;t just hold up a sign. To begin with, they seated us right by the tank with a great view, then when the time came for the sign, the diver spent a long time right in front of our table. She attracted a lot of fish over to us and fed them there.

You have to call in advance to arrange it.

Good to know Deubster; we%26#39;ll be there for our anniversary next week. Had other plans, but am going to change; know Sharon will enjoy.

We set this up for one of my daughter%26#39;s pre-wedding dinners. The diver swam to our table with a congratulatory sign for the happy couple and put lots of food around the sign to attract the fish. She also interacted with the fish and the HUGE ray. It was a big hit with everyone. Have Fun!

another smaller cafe on Kuhio Ave called

Tsunami%26#39;s has small aquarium with

Blow Fish.

He looked like he had GAS LOL.

The cafe is right after the seaside cafe

when facing toward DiamondHead it will be

on the left.

For the big one yes Pacific Beach is great.

There is also an aquarium in the Galleria. No food, but it%26#39;s fun! The aquarium is 2 stories high and there%26#39;s a tube with stairs where you can walk up through. Darn, I%26#39;m not doing a good job describing it. Just go and look see.

We went to the Oceanarium Restaurant last year. If you can get over the humidified heavy fish smell, it%26#39;s great fun for the kids. We had reservations to sit next to the window which you can call ahead for way in advance. Make your reservations around feeding time. Parking is close by in a garage.

You have to do it once, but twice? Nah.

Go to Teddy%26#39;s Better Burger at the end of the Waikiki strip (Waikiki Grand Hotel) and go visit the Honolulu Aquarium. Discount coupons are in the newspaper stand outside of Teddy%26#39;s. Both places are cheaper and better on food IMHO, and the huge Aquarium is empty most of the time. We did breakfast at Teddy%26#39;s for Loco Moco and then the Aquarium.
