Tours Operating from the North Shore?

Hi all,

My first visit to Kauai was last Nov, for my Honeymoon and we stayed at the Hyatt near Poipu. My wife and I had an awesome time and immediately planned our first anniversary trip back to Kauai this year.

We are there from August 25th through Sept 3rd this coming Summer.

But, instead of staying on the South Shore, we decided to stay up in Princeville/Hanalei on the North Shore for this trip.

We very much enjoyed the Holo Holo Charter of the Na Pali Coast Tour and some Deep Sea Fishing on Kai Bear from Nawilili Small Boat Harbor.

For this trip, we want to take a Helicopter Tour of the Canyon and do another Na Pali Coast Tour.

I am wondering if there are tours for Heli and Na Pali Coast that leave from the North Shore, to save us from having to drive back down all the way South both times for both tours since we will be up in Princeville?

I assume there are, can anyone recommend any really good trips they have taken from the north shore for Helicopter Tours and Na Pali Coast half or full day sailing and snorkling tours of the coast?

I can help with the boat tours from Hanalei.

There is NaPali Catamaran and Captain Sundown. We took Captain Sundown and had a great time. The captain and crew were great. It鈥檚 a small group, like 16, and we actually sailed instead of just motoring around. Since you can鈥檛 use the dock you put all your stuff in the provided waterproof bags and then paddle in an outrigger to the catamaran. It was great fun. Then coming back in you try to catch a wave so you can surf in and not have to paddle. We were able to catch the wave and it was a great ending to a really fun day!
