Ferry/ car rental option?

If we take the ferry to Lana%26#39;i what are the options for renting a car or jeep for the day. How much of the island required a jeep to see it. Especially interested in shipwreck beach.

Ferry/ car rental option?

The only vehicle you should rent is a Jeep. The paved roads between the harbor, town and resorts is serviced by the shuttle buses. If you want to see the most interesting parts of the island you will need a 4x4. Shipwreck beach is interesting with the shipwreck, a nice endless beach to walk along (windy in winter), and pteroglyphs to check out. However, I have found Garden of the Gods and the Munro Trail drives to be even better. The best people to rent from is Adventures Lana%26#39;i Ecocentre, they have more heavy duty Jeeps than Dollar-Rent-A-Car, and generally let you go on more roads. No point going if you don%26#39;t get a jeep. You can also rent a jeep through Expeditions, with a ferry/jeep combo price.
