Good, inexpensive lodging near Volcano Nat'l. Park

We will be in Kona a week in May, want to spend 1-2 days in VNP area, need help finding best, inexpensive place to spend the night -- whether motel, B%26amp;B, whatever for Party of 4 (2 couples). Please advise, feel I need to make reservations b/4 we leave May 14th. Thanks.

We just got back. There are only a few options near the volcano. We stayed at Kate%26#39;s volcano cottage. Great littel BandB. She was friendly, the cottage was great and the breakfast was tasty.

We%26#39;re going in May, and I did a bunch of research on this. We booked the Country Goose B%26amp;B which seemed lovely and there are many posts on TA giving it big thumbs up. Price is $100.00/nt for each room (there are two in the main house).

You might want to try volcanogetaway.com and since they have only two cottages it should work well for you.

Try My Island B%26amp;B in volcano area. They have several houses available that would be suitable for your gorup. We%26#39;re scheduled to stay in June. Tripadvisor gives them very good reviews.
