Harley Drive in Maui

We are going to rent a Harley for one of the days we are in Maui. Would anyone recommend some nice places to ride to see the sites on a motorcycle? Of course we won%26#39;t do it on the Road to Hana.

i learned that one the hard way. the road to hana is too tight and slow moving for a motorcycle.

i too am renting a motorcycle...i know you can ride to/through the vineyards. i am interested in knowing the best routes as well.

When we ride with friends on Sundays, we start in Kihei and ride to Paia for breakfast at Charley%26#39;s. Then go to the Hookipa Lookout to see ocean/windsurfers/surfers. Next is a ride up Baldwin Ave %26amp; thru the town of Makawao. We stop at Rice Park in Kula for a break.

From there we head back thru Kahului thru the pali going towards Lahaina. This ride is excellent. Stop at Leilani%26#39;s for pupus or lunch.

After Leilani%26#39;s, we either go to Wailuku to see Iao Valley or we either go back to Kihei and make a few stops at the local bars.

This is probably confusing, but the ride takes up most of the day.

I have rented Harleys in the Islands and I own Harleys too.

But I had the most fun renting scooters by far!!

They%26#39;re a blast if your ego can take it.

Larger scooters go 60+, plenty fast for lookin%26#39; rnd

where do you rent you scooters??

i think if i got a bigger one that could go 60 i would feel better.

i%26#39;ve always rented the harley b/c i see the little scooters at full throttle on big roads getting passed by old ladies on walkers. i just would not feel safe going that slow on the big roads getting passed right and left by cars.

i don%26#39;t think i%26#39;m too cool...and this way, the mrs. can rent a scooter as well!!

Get a map to plan your scoot on appropriate roads.Go the back way,ect.
