Can you answer this crazy restaurant question???

About five years ago my family visited Oahu. We went to a restaurant that we absolutely loved, but the only problem is that we have no idea what it is called or where it%26#39;s at. Here%26#39;s what we remember:

-The outside of the building was yellow

-The decor on the inside was very bright.

-My Mom said that her steak was excellent and was served with the ';purple potatoes';

-We stayed at the Marriott in Waikiki and we know that the restaurant was somewhat towards Diamond Head or east of Waikiki.

what kind of ';bright'; was it?

If it was bright light, perhaps Sam Choy%26#39;s? It%26#39;s east of Waikiki, serves okinawan potatoes, but I can%26#39;t remember the color of the building.

Was it a standalone restaurant, or were there other shops or whatnot attached?

She may also be referring to the former Caf茅 Monsarrat, which is now Tavola Tavola at 3106 Monsarrat Ave. Was the restaurant on a hillside next to Diamond Head crater?

I forgot all about that place! It was great! And it sounds much more like the description.

I have no idea if Cafe was even the place. I%26#39;ve been searching for pictures of the place, but I guess since it%26#39;s been replaced, there%26#39;s no point.

By bright decor I mean that the inside was painted with bright colors.
