I thought people might like to see a slideshow of a recent trip to Hana, Maui and Molokai I took recently. Hope you enjoy!

Pictures of Molokai
philip, they are nice photos. it is something you don%26#39;t see on postcards. you have captured the real soul of the island%26#39;s interior which is pristine and accessible with some difficulty. we have two a.t.v.s and hubby takes similar pictures. my favorite one is taken of waikolu lookout, the waterfall with a bright rainbow infront. i see you have one of kalaupapa lookout with a rainbow over the peninsula. it is not often that one sees a rainbow way below from where it is taken.
Pictures of Molokai
Oh, Philip! What spectacular photos - those of a true artist. The ';metallic-looking'; banyan tree blew me away. I%26#39;d love to read a trip report. We are hoping to visit Molokai, and there%26#39;e just not nearly the info out there that there is for the other islands...
I loved your pictures. What kind of camera do you have? We love to take pictures - and take A LOT. Sometimes we get amazing shots, but we are always trying to improve.
We were just in Molokai - but just for the day, so we didn%26#39;t see much of what your pictures were. But, it makes me want to go back and see more.
Nice eye Philip. Good composition, and it looks like you have a nice variety of lenses.
The close-up of the gears caught my attention with the extremely shallow depth of field. Looks kinda like one of my favorite lenses - f/1.2? f/1.4?
The close-up of the flowers is stunning as well!
Actually that picture was taken with the kit lens on my Canon SLR.
Thanks for the kind words!

Those are beautiful pics Phil, do I really live there? :)
Your pictures capture the essence of the places you visited. My husband and I visited Molokai a few years ago and also took the mule ride to Kalaupapa. It was an experience we will always remember. Thank you for sharing your beautiful works of art- you are a gifted photographer.
No, I live in San Diego! We were just there for 5 days.
Thanks!
Philip
Not sure my message got to you.
Thank you for your posting.
I will post our shots from the same time period.
