Hot Sand

Kind oif a silly question but Does the sand on the beaches give you a Hotfoot mid afternoon? I imagine the Black Sand beaches would be the worst.

I think it also depends on the time of year..we were in Maui in early September one time, and my hubby hot footed all the back to the car when we were on Sugar Beach....

It was overcast the day we went to the black sand beach on Maui, but when I went to one on the Big Island in Feb.... WOW!!! I was seriously wishing I had my tennis shoes on because all I had was flip flops and sand kept getting on me... it was VERY hot!

Yes, yes, yes. Hot, hot sand even in Feb and March. Wear some shoes or sandles.
