I watched the sunset in Maui on a webcam!

This was so cool! If you can%26#39;t stand it and have to wait 4 long months for you trip, like me, you might enjoy one of the many webcams on Maui.

Last night I used the one at the Sheraton at blackrock, You can move it around, and might have to wait for a turn, but I pretty much had control from 6pm to 7pm Maui time. The sunset was great even on my monitor. Must have missed the cliff diver, but I saw the torches being lit and as the sun set, the lights come on all down Kaanapali beach. Simply stunning!

I just saw the sunset, lighting of the torches and the cliff divers. Absolutely awesome!! Can%26#39;t wait to see it in person.

You saw it! Ya! So how was the sunset? There were a few clouds last night. Just enough to make it pretty. I just love this camera, I%26#39;m going to try a different location next time. Didn%26#39;t make it in time tonight.

A year must feel like a long time. I hope the waiting is not too painful for you. I%26#39;ve been waiting my whole life to go to Hawaii. So what%26#39;s a couple of months. teehee! You can check out the webcams and buy every Maui travel book you can find. I%26#39;ve just bought a dvd to watch. Maybe this will keep me... satisfied? or wanting more?

Very cool..yeah, I think it%26#39;s time to break out our home videos and the DVD%26#39;s we bought. We were there last year, and really don%26#39;t need to be spending the money to go again this year, so have to wait for ought 7. Bummer - but gotta pay off the bills 1st. And remodel the kitchen, build a deck for the above ground pool we bought LAST year, paint the living room, 2 other bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, ......think I have enough ';honey-do%26#39;s';???

You are funny Kitty, sounds like my house. Over a year ago, we ripped out our closet to expand our bathroom and put in a Jacuzzi tub, and I still have no closet, and the bathroom isn%26#39;t painted yet. Hah! And I%26#39;m going to Maui. Well, at least I%26#39;ve got my priorities straight! Enjoy your trip movies!

Yep Sky I saw the sunset.. it was somewhat cloudy, but I could tell the colors were just amazing. I saw three divers do their thing also. My husband said they looked like ants jumping in the water. I saw this shortly after 6pm, so I plan on watching again tonight as well.
