We%26#39;d like to snorkel once or twice while on the 3 islands listed above. We already will be snorkeling while on a Na Pali ocean trip. Which is more highly rated Kealakekua Bay on the BI or Molokini in Maui? They both seem to require expensive tours -- are they that much better than the best of the easy access shoreline spots? Either of them unique in special ways?
Snorkeling in Kauai, BI, and Maui
If you jaust take yor time exploring you will find a lot of colourful fishes and other marine life in different places of the islands; the corals, however, are endangered in many places and you will not find better places to see them in such a density ove a relatively large area.
If you prefer being in the bay bay yourself without too many other tourists, you may find such spots at different locations (e.g west coast of BI); if you want the spectacular views, Molilni or Kealakekua Bay may be the right places to visit.
If yu are experienced you may want to swim south to the latter, it is only 0.5 miles from Na opo%26#39;o in the north and thus well accessable for experienced swimmers/ snorklers...
Enjoy the beautiful marine life!
