TH: Zipline / N Beaches

F: Helo Tour / Wailua River Valley / Polynesian Cultural Fest (Lihue)

S: Waimea Canyon Hike / W Beaches / Beach House sunset dinner

S: N Beaches / Limahuli Gardens

M: Napali Hike / Ke%26#39;e Beach

T: Resort Day

W: S Beaches

TH: Depart

We are a bit worried about weekend beach crowds being Memorial Day weekend . . . Should we be and/or any suggestions for avoiding the crowds over the holiday weekend? Thanks!

Activities Plan . . .

Monk,

Good ya ladd, you are going to be seeing a lot. One thing is that the beaches will probably be crowded on the weekends, but the problem will not be the people on the beaches as it will be finding a place to park.

So, suggest that you go EARLY, enjoy the snorkeling, and sunshine, and then have a nice lunch. Also, especially at kee, be aware that it might be a good idea to park where you can get out of there. I have seen SUV%26#39;s, park and block the narrow exits. No bloody idea, or consideration for others.

just a heads up, on that one.

If up at Kee-tunnels area, you could also toss in hiking the hanakapiai trail. which is across the road from kee beach. 4miles round trip...and well worth it.

Perhaps after getting on Kauai Time, you might slow down a bit. I am a fine one for saying that. Our slow kick back day is: Hiking over to the cliffs at they hyatt, and doing a 4 mile good morning. Have breakfast at the condo, then rent bikes to explore poipu and koloa town, take the bikes back, and walk down to poipu to snorkel, and then walk across the road to brenneckes for cold wet reward, and then bbq, or go out to dinner.

That is our quiet day. So, enjoy just as much as you want. You have a great itinerarry planned. And if you dont get everything accomplished, there is always your next visit.....and there will be a next one, and another, and....

Lots of aloha

Denny and Erica
