What do you think? Is it a nice setting? Good for a group?
anyone been to Cafe O'Lei in Lahaina?
I like it ... eaten there a couple of times. It is a very nice setting -- food is pretty good, although the last time I was there I was desparately in the mood for a burger, so I opted for that! Beautiful place to watch the sunset out on the deck. As for a group -- well, we had 7 or 8 ... worked for us. The outside deck is not huge, so it would depend on how big your deck is.
anyone been to Cafe O'Lei in Lahaina?
Sorry -- it would depend on how big your GROUP is! What can I say? It%26#39;s a beautiful day and I%26#39;m working while most everyone else is enjoying a holiday :-(
This place is on my ';Go To'; List and I have a short, exclusive list. I have read only good stuff about the Cafe O%26#39;Lei in Lahaina!
PS- Here are just a couple links about Maui Restaurants, not including the 1 to your left!
1- www.mauihawaii.org (lots of ';reviews'; organized by expense categories)
2- Dining Tidbits, posted right here by CaptainTrips of Seattle
So many restaurants.....so little time....and money!
I really like Cafe O%26#39;Lei a lot and often visit for lunch when I go. They have a great location right in heart of Lahaina too.
awesome - thanks! am looking for a group of about 20 - would we fit?
20 will fit. I%26#39;d definitely call ahead!!
Read Shantybob%26#39;s post about his trip -- he mentions a place called blu that he says has taken the place of Cafe O%26#39;Lei ... COL was still there in December, I thought ...
Sorry to report that Blu is in the spot where Cafe%26#39;O';Lei was in Lahaina. The view is the same and the food was good. From some talk we heard they definitely improved the bathrooms. I would check on their taking a party of twenty and make reservations. Its not that big. Not the size of Kimo%26#39;s or Lahaina Fish Company.
