Hana Sunrise House

We are contemplating two nights in Hana next fall, and the Hana Sunrise House seems to be one of the few that accomodates a two-night stay (most others have 3-night minimums). It%26#39;s a bit pricey for our budget, but it looks very nice on the web. Has anyone stayed there? Is it worth the premium? Is it clean, with adequate kitchen and bathroom facilities? Is it difficult to get to (hoping to have a Mustang convertible, don%26#39;t want to drag bottom)? Thanks in advance for any information.

Hana Sunrise House

I have been there! It%26#39;s AWESOME and I would not hesitate to book again. The pictures do it no justice. The house is very clean and also very comfortable. The sunrise from your bed is just incredible. We had a Sebring convertible and had no problems. Hamoa beach is literally right down the hill (still have to drive).

I%26#39;m picky as hell, but this place was just incredible. I would reccommend it to anyone. Make sure to bring food with you. There was a gas BBQ grill and the kitchen was very large.

It looks gorgeous. We stayed at the Hana Cabana (google tradewinds tropicals) for 2 nights at 150/night. It was lovely. Very small, but full kitchen and jacuzzi for 2 on the porch. Very secluded - right in the middle of a tropical flower farm.

Hana Sunrise House is spectacular! I cannot recommend it highly enough. My husband and I stayed there for 5 nights last May, and it was the most peaceful, relaxing part of our stay on Maui. We also had a mustang convertible, and had no problems with the road. Be careful, though, there are some big bumps, but it looks much worse than it is. Kitchen%26#39;s wonderful, top notch appliances, and every utensil you could want. I recommend buying fish from the fishermen down by Hamoa beach and cooking it on the grill!

Thanks, you guys - I have reserved the Sunrise house, largely based on your recommendations. It does look nice, but there is nothing like first-hand information, and I appreciate you sharing yours.

If it turns out to be as nice as I hope, I%26#39;ll try to write a review of it for other TripAdvisees. Maybe you guys could chime in as well.

Hana Cabana looks very nice too, and is certainly more affordable, but since I will be celebrating my wedding anniversary with Mama342, and since it%26#39;s only two nights, I guess I was inclined to splurge. Maybe we%26#39;ll try Hana Cabana on our next trip.

(Now I just need to find something affordable in Kaanapali for the other 5 days!....)
