I have been to Maui 7 times and I have never been as excited or prepared as I am this time because of this forum. Thanks so much for all the imput. Esp. the ';god, I%26#39;m so glad I brought that with me'; answers. I have been reading and placing items in my ';to pack'; area for 2 weeks now. Thanks to all!

bigmacgolfer- LOL! I thought I was the only obsessed person with a ';to pack'; area in my house! We have a closet in our guest bedroom that has been my stockpile for months now! On Sat, it will all get thrown into the Space Bags and the carry-on. Have fun!! When do you leave?

I usually pack the night before leaving, no matter where I%26#39;m going.

We are leaving on the 29th will be there through the 14th. Very excited.

I keep ordering things off of ebay... all these little things I read in the ';god, i%26#39;m so glad...'; discussion!!! I know have an underwater digital camera (cheap one), soft sided cooler, AND tevas on their way. You people should get a commission!!

Hey! Summerlovin....STOP bidding against me on Ebay!! LOL! I, too, have purchased tevas, backpacks (one for snorkel gear, one soft-side cooler type...really cool!!), a dry box for camera, keys, etc., and of course a Tommy Bahama shirt or two for DH!

The suitcases officially come out today...we leave in ELEVEN days....time to get the stash outta my closet and start crossing things off my list!

Does anyone else get nervous that the trip might not live up to the trip they%26#39;ve been planning? I am so excited and want it all to be perfect! :)

Well, I had a HUGE nightmare last night about our trip. (Thanks to everyone saying that the trip would go by too fast!) Long and very drawn out nightmare. So, I guess there is some worry going on in the back of my mind!! LOL! Less than 48 hrs to go!!!!!!!!! Arrrggggh!

Maui is such a blast. We will be there July 15th. Counting the days. Just don%26#39;t rush, take your time and soak it all in. Set time aside every afternoon for happy hour(mai tai%26#39;s) and awesome sunsets. Just to relax and put your feet up is the best!!!!!
