Ho'olaule'a this Saturday, April 22nd

For anyone visiting over the weekend, the parent/teacher organization of Kamehameha Schools is holding their annual Ho%26#39;olaule%26#39;a (sort of like a block party) on Saturday from 9AM to 2PM on the grounds of KSMC in Pukalani (High School campus). It features all different kine foods (including a Hawaiian plate and shave ice!),a silent auction, entertainment, games and crafts for the keiki, a country store, local vendors and lots more. All proceeds go directly to the school (with the exception of vendor sales)in the form of grants used to fund special programs, travel expenses, camps and guest speakers etc. for the kindergarten through 12th grade. It%26#39;s really a fun event. I%26#39;ll be working it all day. Plus you get to see the school (the beautiful grounds anyway) that Princess Pauahi dedicated to children of Hawaiian ancestry.
